So how do you become a poker VIP player? Simply do what you love, play poker. In every raked hand and real money tournament you participate in you will earn VIP Points.

Each player will receive VIP-points based on how much rake they have contributed to. From February 1st  2009 one VIP point is awarded for each €0.50 contributed in rake.

VIP-points will be awarded in fractions, but only visible in integer. The maximum amount of VIP-points per player per pot is 3.

Example:
€1/2 NL Texas, 6 players get dealt cards. Player A puts €1 into the pot, Player B puts €2 into the pot, Player C puts €40 into the pot and Player D puts €40 into the pot. Players E and F fold. The pot is €83 and the rake is €3.

Player A has contributed €1/€83 = 1.2% of the pot = €0.036 in rake ~ 0.07 VIP points
Player B has contributed €2/€83 = 2.4% of the pot = €0.072 in rake ~ 0.14 VIP points
Player C has contributed €40/€83 = 48.2% of the pot = €1.446 in rake ~ 2.90 VIP points
Player D has contributed €40/€83 = 48.2% of the pot = €1.446 in rake ~ 2.90 VIP points
Player E has contributed €0/€83 = 0.0% of the pot = €0.000 in rake ~ 0.00 VIP points
Player F has contributed €0/€83 = 0.0% of the pot = €0.000 in rake ~ 0.00 VIP points

How much will I win?
A qualified player will win a weighted part of the prize pool depending on the player's total amount of Endurance Challenge VIP-points for the specific race and blind level.

Example:

A Player earns at least VIP 100 everyday during 20 days and qualifies for the €20,000 prize pool. Her total amount of VIP points is VIP3000 from play on those blind levels. The total amount of VIP-points amongst all the qualified players is VIP60000. The player will then get VIP3000/VIP60000 = 5% of the €20,000 = €1,000 in prize.

Another player reaches exactly the required VIP100 per day during 20 days and has VIP2000 would get: VIP2000/VIP60000= 3.33% of the €20 000 = €667 in prize.

The more VIP-points, the bigger the part of the prize pool. So make sure to reach the daily requirement at least and then play more for larger part of the prize pool.

Extra bonus for players that finish one or both of the first two races:

All players that finish the endurance race on a specific level will get a VIP-point multiplier for the last race in April with the largest prize pool.

One race completed = 1.5 times the Endurance VIP points
Two races completed = 2 times the Endurance VIP points

Example:

In the last race a player has earned VIP3000 in total out of a total of VIP60000, which will normally give €3,000. But the player has completed both races before and his share will be calculated with double VIP-points resulting in VIP6000/VIP63000 which is €5715 instead of the €3000.

NOTE: The multipliers only affect the part of the prize pool a player will get, the requirements are based on regular VIP-points, thus even if a player has completed the two first races, the daily requirement are the same.
