3. Managing your Account

After an account is opened:

  • You can make deposits into your account via Bank Transfer, Money Bookers, Neteller and online with a credit or debit card. If you use a debit or credit card, then you must be the cardholder. Payment of any winnings will be made by the same method as you employ, save only in the case of the use by you of a Mastercard because this card company does not permit credit payments into an account by third parties. Further details on payment options and any charges associated with such payments are included in the Help Section.
  • You may only bet with the amount of cleared funds held in your account. Centurionbet will void any bet, win or lose, which may have been inadvertently accepted when the account did not have sufficient funds to cover the bet.
  • If any money is mistakenly credited to your account, then Centurionbet will be entitled to make appropriate adjustments and rectify the mistake. If the money has been withdrawn and there is insufficient money in the account to permit adjustment, then you must pay the balance immediately upon request. Centurionbet would also be entitled to apply any subsequent monies deposited in satisfaction of any outstanding sum.
  • If we have cause to believe that one or more of the following situations may apply:

    (iv)       you are under the age of 18 years;
    (v)        you are resident in a country which might mean that supplying betting and gaming services to you is illegal.

then we are entitled to retain money which we hold while the matter is fully investigated and upon completing an investigation, we reserve the right to close the account and either repay any money due to you or retain money if so requested by a regulatory or governmental body, or if we believe we would be acting illegally by making a payment to you. Please note that:

  • We reserve the right to close an account at any time but will normally give reasonable notice unless circumstances dictate otherwise.
  • You have the right to close your account at any time by giving notice in a letter addressed to us, or by fax, or by email.

4. Bet Acceptance

Centurionbet will only accept bets made online or by telephone and bets will not be accepted in any other form.  The following Rules will apply to the accepting of bets:

  • You must make sure that the details of your bets are correct because once they have been placed with us and accepted, they cannot be cancelled or changed by you.
  • Bets will not be considered as accepted until they are reviewed by our Odd Compilers. For which confirmation may be obtained by accessing the betting list from your gaming account. Only in such cases the coupon is considered as accepted.
  • Should any dispute arise regarding bets placed online, then the transaction log in the database will be examined and this will determine the dispute.
  • Centurionbet reserves the right to refuse all, or part, of any bet requested without notification.
  • Centurionbet reserves the right to suspend a market at any time.
  • Bets will be processed in the order in which they are received.
  • A number of bets may be treated by Centurionbet as one when a client places multiple copies of the same bet. When this occurs, all bets will be voided apart from the first bet struck. A number of bets that contain the same single selection, or a 'banker', may be treated as being one. The use of a single selection, or a 'banker', to avoid payout limits may similarly be treated as being one. When this occurs all bets will be voided apart from the first bet struck. Centurionbet reserves the right to void bets where there may be evidence of collusion between two or more clients.
  • The “possible winnings” section is for information only and all bets will be settled upon the basis of the stake at the accepted odds.
  • Should your selection include a non-runner or a void selection in a multiple bet, then the bet will be settled on the basis of the remaining selections.
  • We accept bets on all sports and races which are listed on our website and the sportsbook section of the site has special Rules for each of these sports and races.  All bets are subject to the Rules which apply to each sport.  Unless otherwise stated in these special Rules, the result of a sports event or race will be that which is declared by the relevant sports governing body immediately upon the conclusion of the event.  If a subsequent enquiry results in an alteration to the previously declared result, then notwithstanding this outcome, the original settlement of bets will stand. For example, horseracing bets will be settled on the basis of the official result at the weigh-in and will not be affected by any subsequent enquiries.
  • If the venue for any sporting event is changed, then all bets placed prior to the announcement of the change will be void.
  • The times of the events cited on the website are only indicative. It is possible that for some events, various sporting federations may decide to change the time without giving adequate notice. For this reason bets inadvertently placed after the start of an event will be considered invalid, without prejudice to the other events which may be included in a multiple bet.
  • If we find the instructions to be ambiguous and the ambiguity cannot be resolved before the start of the event then we reserve the right to void the bet, win or lose.

5. Winnings

  • The maximum winnings for any one customer in any one day shall be €150,000.
  • If winnings are credited to an account for payment in error and are used as stakes, then Centurionbet reserves the right to void any transactions involving such funds.

6. Errors

If, as a result of human error or systems problems, a bet is accepted at a price (which includes the odds, handicap provisions or some other conditions) that is either:

  • materially different from those available in the general market at the time the bet was made
  • clearly incorrect given the chance of the event occurring at the time the bet was made

In any case the bet will be void.

7. Betting Limits and Self-Exclusion

Centurionbet believes in responsible gambling and therefore:

  • You will always have the opportunity to self-exclude.  This is a process whereby you can make a written request to cease betting or gaming with us for minimum period of six months to a maximum period of five years. Once this request has been lodged we shall do everything we can to ensure that we do not accept a new account during the period in question.  Full details of the scheme are available upon request.
  • We also offer a limit setting option whereby you can self-impose a daily, weekly or monthly limit on the money you deposit for betting.
  • You can also close your account at any time.
  • If you think that your gambling is causing problems then you should contact the independent registered charity called GamCare which provides confidential advice and counselling.  Their telephone number is +44 (0) 845 6000 133 or you can visit their website at www.gamcare.org.uk.  If the answer is yes to one or more of the following questions, then you should speak to GamCare:
